There be an excellent series of books on the theme "Camulod" (Camelot) by Jack Whyte.
Most are in affordable paperback and are best done in sequence,
starting with "The Skystone"
For more info see the Official Jack Whyte website

Small caveat: While much of the Arthurian Legend is just that, this series is an excellent read, with all sorts of possibilities as to what really went on, in the "days of ould".

Worth considering is a view of this site's "Resident King", as he performed during a dinner theatre in south Texas, circa 1979. Takes a short while to load, 'cause Merlin is out working on his spells and can't speed it up just now.
