  • Clouded Leopards

  • Snow Leopards

  • Leopards

  • Jaguars

  • Added Black Leopards to Clouded Leopard exhibit

This scenario gave me a lot of trouble for some reason. I have talked with others who have had the same problem, though: NO MONEY! This is a challenging scenario for many reasons, but one of the biggest pains in the neck is the fact that they start you off with only $30,000. So of course, being the big cheater I am :) I used the Shift+4 cheat about a bazillion times (BEFORE I BUILT FENCES - this cheat causes fences to degrade when you use it). I think I started myself off with about $300,000 just to make sure ;) and that did the job. Other than that I didn't really have to cheat. I was very precise with the exhibits and made sure to pause the game when I needed extra time. The zoo in these screenshots has been foo foo-ed up a bit with flower beds, extra foliage, and animal houses for extra income (and to fill in that annoying open space I had left over), but for the most part, it's the same as when I won it.

Miscellaneous Screenshots
These are just a few looks at zoos I have done.

screen003.jpg (83955 bytes) Check out the yellow brick road! This is an area where I put a lot of animal houses and a restaurant.
screen004.jpg (74289 bytes) Here are some exhibits where I used the short fences and placed water all around. This makes it easier for guests to see in but animals can't get out. Sometimes you have to lower the land a couple notches.
screen005.jpg (132461 bytes) Notice that the exhibits toward the bottom have the square of land around them lowered two notches and are filled with water. (Place the water first and then lower, so you don't miss any squares). Then you can use short fences and animals won't jump them. Leave a square at the regular level for the gate. For some reason, they won't jump it.
screen006.jpg (125512 bytes) I like to use foliage and I like to place a couple of animal houses together. I don't know if it makes a difference, but it is a lot like some zoos I have been to.
screen007.jpg (149158 bytes) A few more exhibits with the short fence as well as some landscaping :)
screen008.jpg (151812 bytes) More short fences and some more decorating.
