After a while you learn
the difference between holding a hand and charming a soul.
You learn that love isn't just leaning on someone, but lends
support too.
You begin to accept your defeats with the grace of an adult, not
the grief of a child.
You decide to build on your bridges today, for tommorrow's ground
is too uncertain.
You help someone through hard times instead of waiting for
someone to bring you flowers.
You learn that God has given you the strength to endure
and that you really do have worth in this world that we live in
today.
We learn to walk by
walking. We learn to run by running,
We learn to give through giving of ourselves.
Give your gifts.
We all have some kind of gift to give away.
GOD gave us all at least one.
There's something wonderful and beautiful in you.
Today it may be an encouraging word.
Tommorrow it may be holding someone who's having a difficult time.
As long as you keep giving, you'll find additional resources with
which to give the gift. But if you say no to that gift, it begins
to shrivel.
You'll find that the more you give, the more you have to offer.
